Registered Social Worker/Psychotherapist

My Approach
Maybe becoming a parent—or trying to—hasn't felt as you expected. You may be dealing with anxiety during pregnancy, intrusive thoughts after having a baby, infertility stress, grief after pregnancy or infant loss, or simply feeling unlike yourself. Whatever brought you here, you don't have to figure it all out on your own.
I'm Kerri Mooney, a Registered Social Worker, mother of three, and perinatal mental health therapist offering online therapy across Ontario. I specialize in supporting individuals through trying to conceive, fertility challenges, pregnancy anxiety, postpartum anxiety, postpartum depression, pregnancy after loss, miscarriage and infant loss, and early parenthood.
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing begins with feeling safe, understood, and genuinely supported. The therapeutic relationship is the foundation of meaningful change, and I strive to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the expectation that you have to hold everything together.
The journey to growing your family can be deeply meaningful, but it can also bring grief, uncertainty, identity shifts, relationship strain, and overwhelming emotions. Whether you're navigating fertility treatments, adjusting to pregnancy after loss, struggling in the postpartum period, or feeling disconnected from yourself in early parenthood, you don't have to move through it alone.
As a mom of three, my own experience of parenthood shapes the way I show up in my work. I understand both the emotional and practical realities of this season of life, and I bring a warm, grounded, and human approach to therapy—less clinical and more, “let's figure this out together.” My goal is for you to feel seen, supported, and held through every stage of your perinatal journey.
Because every person's experience is unique, therapy is never one-size-fits-all. I tailor each session to your needs and goals, drawing from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Somatic and Mindfulness-Based approaches. Together, we work to make sense of what you're experiencing while building practical tools to help you feel more like yourself again.
I love working with individuals who are growing their families—whether you're thinking about conceiving, navigating infertility, pregnant, healing after loss, or finding your footing in early parenthood. If you're looking for a therapist who combines clinical expertise with warmth, honesty, and genuine human connection, I'd be honoured to support you.
I provide online psychotherapy for adults across Ontario, making it easier to access specialized perinatal mental health therapy, fertility counselling, pregnancy counselling, and postpartum support from the comfort of your home. If this feels like the right fit, I'd love to connect and support you through this chapter with greater clarity, compassion, and care.

When I'm not in session
When I'm not drowning in the never ending piles of laundry, you can find me playing dress up with my two daughters, snuggling with my son, or walking my dog in the nearby Conservation area. I've found joy in cooking and spending time in the kitchen, since somebody always needs a snack!
My guilty pleasure is watching the Real Housewives. I grew up spending my summers on Lake Huron and am happiest at the beach.
